Aeration & Seeding
Core Aeration and Seeding are two very important steps in maintaining a healthy lawn. Most lawns will require some spot seeding to occur in the year to help maintain the consistency of the lawn. Strong Roots recommends that most healthy lawns are over-seeded to keep the healthy growth going. Aerating your lawn will help move the proper nutrients, water and oxygen to the roots system. The BEST time of the year to aerate and seed your lawn is the early fall. This will give your lawn the best results that it needs.
Aeration
Core Aeration is one of the most important steps in maintaining a healthy lawn. Aeration allows for the proper oxygen, water and nutrients to get down to the plant's roots. A healthy lawn should be aerated at least once a year which will combat heavy thatch build up as well as reduce compaction and will stimulate the root growth.
Spot Seeding
Spot seeding is done when there are small areas of the lawn that don't look healthy. There could be an area of the lawn that is affected by a shady area or the dog digging. We can assist in those small areas to help get the grass renovated so it matches the rest of your lawn.
Over-seeding
Over-seeding is done when the yard is in good shape but still has some bare spots to be filled in. The yard may have been damaged by animals or the heat of the summer. Strong Roots will over seed the lawn with minimum disruption of the dirt which won't be as messy.
