Lawn Fertilization Programs
Strong Roots has developed a lawn fertilization program that will allow your lawn to be its healthiest while also reviving and maintaining it's green color. Each lawn will be looked at individually and a program will be tailored to the specific lawn's needs. Our program is comprised of six applications that begin in early spring and continue until late fall.
Early Spring
Slow release fertilizer, pre-emergent crabgrass control, and broadleaf weed control.
Early Summer
Balanced fertilizer, pre-emergent crabgrass control and broadleaf weed control.
Early Fall
Balanced fertilization with broadleaf weed control.
Lime Application (optional)
Pelletized lime application following a soil sample. This will help adjust the PH of the soil in your yard.
Late Spring
Balanced, slow release fertilizer with pre-emergent crabgrass control and broadleaf weed control.
Late Summer
Balanced fertilization with broadleaf weed control.
Late Fall
Winterization of your lawn including winter feeding of fertilizer with broadleaf weed control.
Soil Sample (every 3 years)
A soil sample of your lawn is required every 3 years by law to make sure your lawn is receiving the proper nutrients.
